Kader FC in the semi final of the World Cup of Badges
After a nail-biting quarter-final which saw Kader win the vote by 51% to 49%, we have been drawn against our near neighbours Linthorpe AC in the Semi-final of the North Riding County FA #WorldCupOfClubBadges. Linthorpe beat Northallerton by 53.4% to 46.6% in their quarter-final.
This is certain to be a hard-fought semi with the winner going onto the final against the victors of the fixture between Wigginton Grasshoppers and Goal Sports FC.
After 556 votes and with 9 hours left to vote Linthorpe has taken a lead with 55.4% of the votes against 44.6% for Kader. I am sure with a strong showing in the second half of the vote Kader can overcome the deficit and earn a place in the coveted final.
